Joan Contreras is a Venezuelan politician and member of the National Assembly. He has served as the president of the Legislative Council of the Bolivarian State of Miranda, where he focused on developing legislative agendas responsive to local demands. A prominent figure within the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the youth wing of the party (JPSUV), he acts as a regional liaison for Caracas, La Guaira, and Miranda.
