Joe Lovvorn

Joe Lovvorn is an American politician, businessman, and firefighter serving as a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives for the 79th district. First elected in 2015 and assuming office in 2016, he has held leadership roles including chair of the House Technology and Research Committee and the House Lee County Legislation Committee. Outside of his legislative duties, Lovvorn has a professional background as a battalion fire chief in Auburn, Alabama, a real estate broker, and a business owner in the trucking industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Auburn University College of Agriculture and a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University.
