John Bear is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a Republican member of the Wyoming House of Representatives for the 31st district. Born in Trenton, Missouri, he graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in economics and served as an officer in the United States Navy. Since 2007, he has owned and operated Bear's Dry Cleaners. First elected to the state legislature in 2020, he assumed office in January 2021 and serves on the House Minerals, Business and Economic Development Committee.
