John Brady

John Brady is an Irish politician who has served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Wicklow constituency since 2016. A member of Sinn Féin, he previously served on the Wicklow County Council and Bray Town Council. Before entering politics, Brady worked as a professional carpenter. In his parliamentary career, he has focused on social protection and employment issues, and in 2025, he was appointed as the Chair of the Public Accounts Committee. He is known for his advocacy on international issues, including sponsoring legislation to divest from Israeli settlements.
