John Connolly

John Connolly is an Irish politician who has served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency since the 2024 general election. A member of the Fianna Fáil party, he has a long history of local government service, having been elected to the Galway City Council in 2004, 2019, and 2024. Before his election to the Dáil, Connolly worked as the principal of Athenry National School and served as the chairperson of the Bearna GAA Club. He resides in Rahoon with his family.
