John Dumaresq is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of the Shire of Nillumbik in Victoria. He represents the Wingrove ward as a councillor, having been elected to the council for a four-year term in October 2024. As Mayor, he leads the council in governing the Shire of Nillumbik, an area known as 'The Green Wedge Shire' that encompasses Melbourne's outer north-eastern suburbs and rural localities.
