John Eatwell, Baron Eatwell

John Leonard Eatwell, Baron Eatwell is a British economist and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 1992. An academic by profession, he served as the President of Queens' College, Cambridge, from 1996 to 2020 and held the position of Professor of Financial Policy at the Cambridge Judge Business School. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent economic advisor to the Labour Party, notably serving as chief economic adviser to Neil Kinnock. His political work has focused on Treasury and economic affairs, and he currently serves on the Lords Industry and Regulators Committee.
