John Fraser

John Fraser is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Ottawa South since 2013. A member of the Ontario Liberal Party, he has held the position of interim leader of the party on multiple occasions, including beginning in 2026. Prior to his election, he worked as a constituency assistant for former Premier Dalton McGuinty and spent 18 years in the private sector managing small- and medium-sized businesses. Throughout his legislative career, Fraser has focused on healthcare, palliative care, and child welfare, notably sponsoring legislation such as Rowan's Law to protect young athletes.
