John Mannion is an American educator and politician currently serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 22nd congressional district since 2025. Before his election to Congress, he served in the New York State Senate from 2020 to 2024, where he focused on education and disability advocacy. A former high school biology teacher, Mannion spent years in the classroom and as a union leader before entering public office. He is a member of the New Democrat Coalition and serves on the House Committees on Agriculture and Education and the Workforce.
