John Moolenaar

John Moolenaar is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 2nd congressional district since 2023, having previously represented the 4th district from 2015 to 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives and the Michigan Senate. Before entering politics, he worked as a chemist at Dow Chemical Company. Moolenaar holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Hope College and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University.
