John Paul O'Shea

John Paul O'Shea is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork North-West constituency since his election in 2024. Prior to his national parliamentary career, he served as a member of the Cork County Council representing the Kanturk area from 2009 to 2024. Initially elected as an independent candidate, he joined Fine Gael in 2018. In his current role, he serves as the Cathaoirleach of the Committee on Social Protection, Rural and Community Development.
