John Stewart is a Northern Irish politician and businessman who has served as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for East Antrim since 2017. A member of the Ulster Unionist Party, he previously served as a councillor on the Carrickfergus Borough Council and the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. In addition to his legislative work, where he acts as the party's infrastructure spokesperson, Stewart serves in the Army Reserve with the North Irish Horse. His political focus includes infrastructure development and addressing public service backlogs.
