Johnathan Newman

Johnathan Newman is an American politician and Christian pastor serving as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 80th district since January 2025. A founding senior pastor of Koinos Church in Troy, Ohio, he has long been active in community leadership and pro-life advocacy. In the legislature, he serves as vice-chair of the House Agriculture Committee and has sponsored legislation focused on prenatal protection and state budget matters. He is a vocal opponent of abortion, having publicly criticized Ohio's 2023 reproductive rights initiative.
