Johnny Svedin

Johnny Svedin is a Swedish politician and member of the Riksdag representing the Norrbotten constituency since 2022. A specialist psychiatric nurse by profession, he previously worked in mental health care with young people, an experience that fueled his political interest in youth issues and social welfare. Svedin began his political career with the Sweden Democrats in 2016 and served as a municipal councilor in Nybro before relocating to Kalmar. He identifies as a social conservative, advocating for a balance between conservative values and the maintenance of robust social safety nets.
