Jon Krause is an Australian politician serving as the member for Scenic Rim in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland. Born in Ipswich and raised on a dairy farm in Marburg, he attended Ipswich Grammar School before graduating from the University of Queensland with degrees in law and accounting. Krause was first elected to the Queensland Parliament in 2012 as the member for Beaudesert, a seat that was subsequently renamed Scenic Rim in 2017. He continues to represent his constituency as a member of the Liberal National Party.
