Jonathan Rivera is an American politician serving as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 149th district. First elected in 2020 and assuming office in 2021, he has chaired the Commission on Administrative Regulations Review and the Subcommittee on Regional Tourism Development. Prior to his legislative career, he worked as a special assistant to the Erie County Commissioner of Public Works and as a liaison to the Erie County Legislature. Rivera holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Buffalo State College.
