José David Name

José David Name Cardozo is a Colombian politician who served as a Senator of Colombia from 2006 until 2026 as a member of the Party of the U. Born in Barranquilla on November 18, 1968, he studied business administration at the Autonomous University of the Caribbean. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the consul of Colombia in New York from 1999 to 2005. Throughout his time in the Senate, he was involved in policy issues including energy transition and tobacco regulation.
