José Antonio Chang Escobedo is a Peruvian politician, engineer, and academic who serves as the Minister of Education under President Keiko Fujimori. He previously served as the Prime Minister of Peru and Minister of Education from 2010 to 2011 during the administration of Alan García. In addition to his political career, he has served as rector of the University of San Martín de Porres since 1996 and has been a prominent figure in Peruvian higher education.
