José Elías Ávalos

José Elías Ávalos is a Peruvian lawyer and politician serving as a Member of the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the 2021–2026 parliamentary period, having previously held the office across non-consecutive terms. Born in Ica, he studied law at the National University of Federico Villarreal and has been involved in higher education management as an executive of the Private University of San Juan Bautista. Throughout his legislative career, he has represented various political parties and served in leadership roles within congressional committees.
