Josh Green

Josh Green is an American politician and physician serving as the ninth Governor of Hawaii since 2022. Previously, he served as the 15th Lieutenant Governor of Hawaii from 2018 to 2022 and held seats in the Hawaii House of Representatives and the Hawaii Senate. A member of the Democratic Party, Green is known for his background in emergency medicine and his focus on healthcare policy, homelessness, and housing affordability. During his tenure, he has championed legislation to expand abortion access, strengthen gun control measures, and address the state's cost-of-living crisis through tax reforms and housing initiatives.
