Josh Newbury is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase since 2024. Before entering national politics, he worked in communications and stakeholder engagement roles within the NHS and the energy sector, and served as a councillor on the Cannock Chase District Council from 2019 to 2025. A proud gay man, Newbury has been a vocal advocate for ending the stigma surrounding sexual assault survivors, sharing his own personal experience with sexual violence in the House of Commons in 2025.
