Josh Newbury

Josh Newbury is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Cannock Chase since 2024. Before his election to the House of Commons, he worked in communications and stakeholder engagement for the NHS and the Energy and Utilities Alliance. He also served as a councillor for the Norton Canes ward on the Cannock Chase District Council from 2019 to 2025, where he held the position of deputy leader. Newbury is a proud gay man and has advocated for ending the stigma surrounding victims of sexual assault.
