Josh West

Joshua Kelly West is an American politician and military veteran serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 5th district since 2017. Born in Tulsa and raised in Grove, Oklahoma, West served in the U.S. Army for nine years, during which he was deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq and received a medical retirement in 2005 following combat injuries. Politically, he aligns with the Republican Party, advocating for gun rights, local control in education, and opposition to abortion. He has also been a vocal critic of the Obama administration and supported Ron DeSantis in the 2024 presidential election.
