Joy Morrissey is an American-born British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Beaconsfield since 2019. Before entering national politics, she worked in humanitarian aid, served as a councillor on Ealing Council, and held roles in the Centre for Social Justice. During her parliamentary career, she has served as a Parliamentary Private Secretary to several ministers and as an Assistant Government Whip. Since November 2024, she has served as the Opposition Deputy Chief Whip in the House of Commons. Morrissey holds a master's degree in European Social Policy from the London School of Economics and is a dual national of the United States and the United Kingdom.
