Joyce Vermue is a Dutch politician who has served as the Mayor of Zundert since July 2019. Upon her appointment at age 34, she became the youngest mayor in the Netherlands. Previously, she was a member of the House of Representatives for the Labour Party from 2015 to 2017, where she focused on finance, education, and healthcare policy. Before her national political career, she worked extensively in social work and served as a municipal councilor in Sluis. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work.
