Juan del Granado

Juan del Granado is a Bolivian politician and lawyer who currently serves as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, representing the 8th constituency of La Paz. Known as "Juan sin miedo" (Juan the Fearless), he gained national prominence for his role as the lead prosecutor in the historic 1993 trial against dictator Luis García Meza. He previously served two terms as the Mayor of La Paz from 1999 to 2010, where he was recognized for urban renewal projects and civic culture initiatives. A former leader of the Movimiento Sin Miedo party, he has been a significant figure in Bolivian politics for decades, advocating for human rights and judicial reform.
