Juha Viitala

Juha Viitala is a Finnish politician serving as a Member of the Parliament of Finland since his election in 2023. Born in Kajaani in 1976, he has resided in Rauma since childhood and served on the Rauma City Council starting in 2017. Before his parliamentary career, Viitala worked for many years at the UPM paper mill in Rauma, where he also served as a shop steward. Politically, he is associated with the Social Democratic Party and is often described as holding center-left views with a focus on rural issues.
