Julia Cornwell-McKean is an Australian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Berrigan Shire in New South Wales. First elected as a councillor in December 2021, she was appointed mayor in September 2023 and subsequently re-elected to the position in 2024. In addition to her local government duties, she serves on the board of directors for GV Health. A business owner and professional with a GAICD qualification, she is recognized for her advocacy regarding regional survival and local government representation. She identifies as an unaligned politician and has been noted for being the first Indigenous mayor of the Berrigan Shire Council.
