Julia Letlow is an American politician and academic administrator serving as the U.S. Representative for Louisiana's 5th congressional district since 2021. As the first Republican woman to represent Louisiana in the House, she has focused on education policy, notably authoring the Parents Bill of Rights Act, and infrastructure development, including rural broadband expansion. Before her election, she held leadership roles in higher education at Tulane University and the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
