Julia Lopez

Julia Lopez is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Hornchurch and Upminster since 2017. A former local councillor for Tower Hamlets, she has held several ministerial roles, including Minister of State for Media, Data and Digital Infrastructure. In opposition, she has served in the Shadow Cabinet, most recently as the Shadow Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a parliamentary aide and researcher.
