Julie Middleton is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Foyle since 2026. A member of the Democratic Unionist Party, she was co-opted to the Northern Ireland Assembly in April 2026 following the resignation of her husband, Gary Middleton. Prior to her election to the Assembly, she served as a councillor for the Faughan area on the Derry City and Strabane District Council from 2023 to 2026. She holds the distinction of being the first female unionist MLA to represent the Foyle constituency.
