Julien Bony

Julien Bony is a French politician serving as the Mayor of Clermont-Ferrand since March 2026. Born in 1979 in Clermont-Ferrand, he began his professional career in the hospitality and medical sectors before entering politics. He previously served as a municipal councillor and campaign director for the right-wing opposition. In 2026, he led a coalition of the right and center to a historic victory in the municipal elections. Beyond his mayoral duties, he also serves as the first vice-president of the Clermont Auvergne Métropole.
