Julius Sello Malema is a South African politician and the founder and leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a political party he established in 2013. Previously, he served as the president of the African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) from 2008 until his expulsion in 2012. Known for his advocacy of land expropriation without compensation and the nationalization of mines, Malema has been a polarizing figure in South African politics. He has served as a Member of the National Assembly since 2014, consistently championing a radical left-wing agenda.
