
Jurgita Šukevičienė

Jurgita Šukevičienė is a Lithuanian politician and member of the Social Democratic Party of Lithuania. Born in Alytus, she studied French philology at Vytautas Magnus University and public administration at Kaunas University of Technology. Before entering national politics, she worked as a language teacher, project manager, public relations specialist for the Alytus city municipality administration, adviser to a Seimas member, and deputy mayor of Alytus from 2019 to 2024. She took office as a Member of the Seimas, serving on the Committee on European Affairs and later becoming chair of the Committee on Education and Science.
