Justin Woodson

Justin Woodson is an American politician serving as a member of the Hawaii House of Representatives for District 9 since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he represents areas including Kahului, Puʻunene, and Maui Lani. Woodson currently chairs the Committee on Higher and Lower Education and serves as the House Majority Whip. He is a prominent advocate for public education, having helped initiate the Hawaiʻi Promise Program, which provides free community college tuition for students in need, and he continues to work toward expanding access to quality pre-kindergarten and higher education across the state.
