Born in 1982 in Blieskastel, she pursued a career in education, working as a high school teacher at the Gymnasium am Rotenbühl in Saarbrücken until her election to the state parliament in 2017. Prior to her legislative career, she was active in local politics, serving as a member of the Saarpfalz-Kreis district council and as deputy local head of Blieskastel-Mitte. She has been re-elected to the Landtag multiple times, including in 2022.
