K. H. Muniyappa

K. H. Muniyappa is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Devanahalli constituency. A prominent leader from the Madiga community, he previously served seven consecutive terms as a Member of Parliament for the Kolar Lok Sabha constituency between 1991 and 2019. During his tenure in the central government, he held the position of Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He holds a law degree from SJRC College and an honorary doctorate from Gulbarga University.
