K. Venkatesh is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Periyapatna constituency. A member of the Indian National Congress, he was appointed as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Karnataka in May 2023, holding portfolios including Animal Husbandry and Sericulture. Previously, he served as the Chairman of the Bangalore Development Authority starting in 2016. He continues to play an active role in Karnataka state politics as a legislator and government minister.
