Kalpana Saini

Kalpana Saini is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She currently serves as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, representing the state of Uttarakhand. Before her election to the upper house of Parliament in 2022, she held various leadership roles, including serving as the Chair of the Backward Commission of the Uttarakhand Government and as a councilor for Roorkee. An academic by background, she previously worked as a lecturer and principal at Gandhi Mahila Shilp Vidyalaya. Saini has been a long-time associate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and has held several senior positions within the BJP and associated organizations.
