Kandie Smith

Kandie Smith is an American politician currently serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 5th district. Prior to her tenure in the state senate, she served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives and held the position of interim mayor of Greenville, North Carolina. Her earlier political career included service on the Greenville City Council. Smith holds a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in communications from Charleston Southern University.
