Karel Beran is a Czech diplomat and politician who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from October 2025 to May 2026. Prior to his parliamentary career, he held various diplomatic positions, serving as the Czech ambassador to Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay starting in 2016, and previously as ambassador to Spain and permanent delegate to UN Tourism from 2009 to 2014.
