Karel Havlíček is a Czech politician and businessman who has served as the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and Minister of Industry and Trade since December 2025. Previously, he held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade, and Minister of Transport between 2019 and 2021. Before his political career, he was a prominent entrepreneur and chairman of the Czech Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Tradesmen. He holds a Ph.D. in economics and management.
