Karim Bardeesy

Karim Bardeesy is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Taiaiako'n—Parkdale—High Park, having been elected in the 2025 federal election. He currently serves as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Industry. Prior to his parliamentary career, Bardeesy was a journalist and policy advisor, notably serving as Deputy Principal Secretary to Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne and Executive Director of Policy under Dalton McGuinty. He also led The Dais, a public policy think tank at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he focused on technology, education, and democratic governance.
