Karim Benbrahim is a French politician and engineer who currently serves as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of Loire-Atlantique, elected in 2024. A long-time member of the Socialist Party, he previously worked as an engineer in the renewable energy sector at RTE in Nantes. Before his election to parliament, he served as the first secretary of the Socialist Party in Loire-Atlantique, a position he assumed in 2023. Throughout his political career, he has been active in local socialist politics and has advocated for left-wing unity within the framework of the New Popular Front.
