Karin Tschernich-Weiske is a German politician and lawyer serving as a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt. Born in 1973 in Dessau, she studied law at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg. Before entering state politics, she held various administrative roles, including serving as the head of the administrative office for the Wörlitzer Winkel municipal association and as a personal advisor to the mayors of Oranienbaum-Wörlitz and Dessau. She joined the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) in 2010 and has served as the chair of the Oranienbaum-Wörlitz city council since 2019. In 2021, she was elected to the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt representing the constituency of Dessau-Roßlau-Wittenberg.
