Karina Verónica Banfi is an Argentine politician currently serving as a National Deputy for Buenos Aires Province, a position she has held since 2015. Before entering the legislature, she worked as a Regional Coordinator of Transparency and Governance Programmes at the Organization of American States and as an advisor on Freedom of Expression at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. A member of the Radical Civic Union, Banfi is known for her advocacy in human rights and has been a vocal supporter of the legalization of abortion in Argentina.
