Karl B. Allen is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the South Carolina Senate, representing the 7th District since 2012. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, he served in the South Carolina House of Representatives for the 25th District from 2001 to 2012. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees, Allen has also served as the president of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice. He resides in Greenville, South Carolina.
