Kat Theophanous is an Australian politician serving as the Labor Party member for the district of Northcote in the Victorian Legislative Assembly since 2018. A member of the Labor Right faction, she was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Women's Health in 2022. Before her election, she worked in government relations at the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) and served as an advisor to former Northcote MP Fiona Richardson, where she contributed to the development of Victoria's first Gender Equality Strategy. She is the daughter of former state politician Theo Theophanous.
