Kate Lampard, Baroness Lampard is a British barrister and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2022. A former barrister, she gained national prominence for leading the 2012 investigation into the Jimmy Savile sexual abuse scandal within the National Health Service. Throughout her career, she has held numerous senior non-executive roles, including chairing the SouthEast Coast Strategic Health Authority and the charity GambleAware. In 2023, she was appointed to chair the statutory inquiry into mental health deaths in Essex. She is a Commander of the Order of the British Empire and a Deputy Lieutenant of Kent.
