Kate Washington

Kate Washington is an Australian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member for Port Stephens in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly since 2015. A member of the Labor Party, she currently serves as the Minister for Disability Inclusion and the Minister for Families and Communities in the Minns Government. Before her election to parliament, she practiced as a health lawyer. Throughout her political career, she has held various shadow portfolios, including early childhood education, rural health, and environment and heritage.
