Katharbatcha Muthuramalingam

Katharbatcha Muthuramalingam is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly representing the Ramanathapuram constituency. A member of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), he also serves as the party's district secretary for Ramanathapuram. Before his election to the state assembly in 2021, he held the position of Melaramanathi village Panchayat union president for 20 years, serving four consecutive terms from 1996 to 2016. Additionally, he has contributed to public service as a member of the Public Institutional Committee and as a non-official member of the Sixth State Finance Commission.
